About me

Welcome to my website! I’m Björn Lubetzki, a multi-talented individual engaged in photography, 3D printing, PC building, Making, and more. As a disability rights activist, I bring a unique perspective, being a person with Epilepsy. My photography projects challenge stereotypes and showcase the beauty of the disability community.

I’ve conducted photography workshops for individuals with disabilities, collaborated with organizations like Lebenshilfe Geldern, and DRS (Deutscher Rollstuhl Sportverband).
I created the Awesome Wheels – Project to redefine the perceptions of wheelchairs and to challenge stereotypes.
The rest of my photographic work is centered around the immersive world of LARP (Live Action Role Playing) events and capturing the excitement of sports like BMX and WCMX.

Attending the TED Conference alongside my friend Christian Bayerlein, a disability rights activist/biohacker/web designer/tech-nerd was a highlight. He was the Co-Speaker for OpenBCI. I provided support during the project, 3d printed parts, translated and photographed the Project.

My work has been published in magazines, newspapers and online. To give some examples: Tagesspiegel, CNet, BMX Rider Magazine, Rhein-Zeitung, SWR Television, Lebenshilfe-Zeitung, Bild.

Since 2023 I’m on an Expert Committee of the Aktion Mensch e.V.

If you want to work with me, don’t hesitate to ask. I’m always up for Collaborations, Projects and Challenges.
